This blog is intended to be an annual post to honor my son Adam Gourley. He died on October 30, 2024. If it helps someone learn some insights, great. But mainly this is for me to just keep his memory alive, process my grief and to understand more as we talk each other from afar. I loved my son with all my heart.
Adam was a kind soul who was as smart as they come. His smile could light up a room and when he hugged you it was met with arms stretched wide. We miss him more than any words I could ever write or say.
“Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.” – Martin Prechtel
